The raw materials used in interlock fabric are generally include pure cotton, blended and chemical fibers. Chemical fibers can be divided into: polyester interlock fabric, acrylic interlock fabric, spandex interlock fabric, etc.
2. Different fabric characteristics
The jersey fabric is a weft-knitted fabric with very good stretchability in both the longitudinal and transverse directions, and the transverse extensibility is much better than that in the longitudinal direction. The jersey fabric has good moisture absorption and air permeability.
Interlock fabric is a kind of weft-knitted fabric, the fabric is relatively thick, the touch is relatively soft, and the lateral extensibility is relatively good.
3. Different uses
Jersey fabric has excellent sweat absorbency and air permeability, so it is often used to make undershirts or underwear. The undershirt can dries quickly after a sweat,it is an ideal for wearing next to your body.
Interlock fabric is thicker and keeping warm, it is often used to make fall clothing, long johns, and pajamas.
