High-quality authentic wax print fabric has been color-fixed during production, so it won't fade severely under normal washing. However, for the first wash, we recommend washing it separately in cold water with a pinch of salt to help set the colors.

Not recommended. Hot water can cause shrinkage and color bleeding. Always use cold or lukewarm water (below 30°C / 86°F) for wax print fabric.

Q3: Can I machine-wash it?

Yes, but choose the delicate/gentle cycle. Hand washing is better – gently squeeze and rub, and avoid wringing or twisting forcefully, as this can damage the wax crackle effect.

Q4: Can I use bleach?

Absolutely not. Bleach will severely ruin both the colors and the distinctive wax patterns.

Q5: How should I dry it after washing?

Avoid direct sunlight, as UV rays cause fading. Hang to dry in a shady, well‑ventilated area. Do not use a tumble dryer.

Q6: How do I protect it from insects and mildew?

In hot and humid climates, wax print fabric needs extra care:

- Keep it dry – store in a well‑aired place away from dampness.

- Use insect repellents – camphor balls or natural pest‑deterring plants (e.g., lavender) work well.

- Air it periodically – hang it in the shade from time to time, but never in direct sun.

- Fold it flat – avoid hanging for long periods, which can cause distortion; folded storage is preferable.
