Cotton Combed Compact Yarn

The compact spinning is a process where fiber strand drawn by drafting system is condensed before twisting it. It is a new type of spinning technology improved on the ring spinning. By comparing the spinning performance on the two kinds of machines, the yarn spun on the compact spinning frame has more advantages:

1.Fewer hairiness. The hairiness of coventional ring spinning is mainly produced in the spinning triangle, while compact spinning eliminates the influence of the spinning triangle. It greatly reduces the hairiness of compact yarn, and the number of hairiness over 3mm is reduced to 15% to 20% of the conventional yarn.

2. Good abrasion resistance. Compared with conventional ring spinning, the fibers of compact spinning yarns are more neatly arranged and straight, and the yarn structure is more tight so that the fibers are not easy to come loose.

3.High strength. Yarn strength depends on the number of fibers in the sliver and the cohesion and friction between fibers. Compact spinning yarns have less hairiness and more effective fibers in the sliver. In addition, the fibers are arranged neatly and tightly cohesive, so the strength of the yarn is high.

4.Better smoothness. The smoothness of fabric is closely related to the hairiness of the cloth surface. The fabric produced by compact yarn has less hairiness, and its smoothness is obviously better than that by conventional ring spinning.

5.Small twist. Compact yarn twist can be reduced by 10% while maintaining the same strength as the conventional ring yarn.

6.Due to the unique structure of the compact yarn, the singeing process can be omitted or the combed ring spun yarn can be replaced, it can reduces the consumption of raw materials.

7.Warp thread breakage during weaving decreases by 50% and those of weft by 30%, thereby it can improve the weaving efficiency and output and reduce the cost.
