Digital printing fabric introduction
Aug 15, 2023
Digital printing is a printing process that uses digital technology. Digital printing technology is a high-tech product that gradually forms with the continuous development of computer technology, integrating mechanical and computer electronic information technology.
The emergence and continuous improvement of this technology has brought a new concept to the textile printing and dyeing industry. Its advanced production principles and methods have brought an unprecedented development opportunity to the textile printing and dyeing industry.
At present, digital direct injection printing is divided into four types: dispersed digital printing, active digital printing, acidic digital printing, and pigment ink digital printing. Different types of digital printing equipment are suitable for different fabrics. Here are the four differences:
1. Dispersed digital printing
Dispersed digital printing technology can generally be used for printing chemical fiber fabrics such as polyester fibers, and dye is a kind of non-ionic dye with low water solubility that rely on the action of dispersants during dyeing.
2. Active digital printing
Active digital printing is generally used for printing silk and cotton fabrics. At present, it is mainly used on woven and knitted fabrics such as cotton, hemp, and silk, or fabrics with higher content of the above components.
3. Acidic digital printing
Acidic digital printing is generally used for printing fabrics such as silk and nylon. Most acidic dyes contain sodium sulfonates, which are soluble in water, have bright colors, and complete chromatography. It can be mainly used for dyeing wool, silk, and nylon, and can also be used in Chinese leather, paper, ink technology, and other fields.
4. Pigment ink digital printing
The usage of pigment ink digital printing is less, and most of them are foreign products.
