Why do we choose super imitation cotton?

Because super imitation cotton looks like cotton (visual), feels like cotton (tactile), wears like cotton (compatibility), and is more convenient to use than cotton (washable and wearable), which has excellent characteristics. it is the products that integration of multiple technologies of polymerized modified spinning, spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing.

Compared with cotton products, super imitation cotton has the following characteristics:

1. Imitation of hair feeling and bulkiness

Polyester filaments are highly bundling and have a smooth surface. To make the surface feel like cotton wool, the fiber structure must be changed. At present, there are mainly the following ways to improve the wool feel and bulkiness of polyester: use the air network form to blow the filaments apart, entangle them to form irregular structures, and use different raw materials to form three-dimensional curls and bulky.

2. Imitate the hygroscopicity of cotton

At present, the methods for improving the hygroscopicity of polyester mainly include: using fine denier or ultra-fine denier to increase the specific surface area of the fiber and increase the capillary wicking speed. Modify the cross section of the fiber, increase the moisture absorption and moisture conduction groove, and accelerate the moisture absorption speed. Hydrophilic modification is carried out on the fiber, and hydrophilic groups are added to the fiber to enhance the moisture absorption capacity of the fiber.

3. Imitate the luster of cotton

To improve the glossiness of polyester and achieve the effect of cotton fiber, it is necessary to make the fiber surface form diffuse reflection to reduce the light reflection ability. The methods of reducing gloss include: modifying the surface of the fiber to reduce the reflection of light on the surface, or absorbing part of the light to form a soft luster, and using fine denier or ultra-fine denier to improve the diffuse reflection ability and make the light soft.

4. Make up for the defects of cotton fiber

The characteristics of polyester are used to make up for the deficiency of cotton fiber fabrics. For example, polyester has good weather resistance such as light resistance, heat resistance, and mold resistance, which can make up for the lack of durability of cotton fabrics. Polyester has a large initial modulus, is stiff, and is not easy to deform, it has good shape retention, which can make up for the shortcomings of cotton fabrics that are easy to wrinkle, easy to deform, and not wear-resistant.

Where is super imitation cotton mainly used?

Super imitation cotton products are not only close to cotton fabrics in terms of fiber surface shape and fabric style, but more importantly, the performance and function of their fabrics imitate cotton and super cotton, and have excellent dynamic heat and humidity comfort performance. Therefore, its fibers can be widely used in knitting, woven, sportswear, casual wear, shirts, underwear, coats, home textiles and other products.
